Garage Door Sensor

• Question: I am interested in purchasing a sensor. Does it make Alexa say “ garage door opened or closed” and also a notification. Please advise.

• Question: I want to build a Routine that says “garage door is OPENED” WHEN it’s indeed OPENED, not just “moved” in any direction. Do-able?

Yes, if you stick it in the top panel of the garage door, when it is fully closed, it will treat it as closed, if it open 1/4 to full opened, it will treat opened.
