Works exactly as described.

I'm always thrilled when something does exactly what it says it will do. Easy installation, easy set up (well, okay, I didn't realize the sensor thing would not show up as a separate device in the app even though it is a separate piece, and that kind of confused me for awhile), and I am very happy with the results. No clicker in the car. So long as I have my phone, I'm good.

Setup is easy. Once the hub is up and running addibg devices is simple and stright forward. Integration with the Echo dot (Alexa) is seamless. Had a number of power failures which switched to generator and back. Every device and the system. Ome right back up. Tje Garage sensor and Controller turns a 16 year opener into a smart system. Support is top notch.

Kudos to Yolink for a great product and the support to go with it!

Replaced a competitor's product, which I loved because their support was not able to solve an eventual issue that propped up despite multiple tries. Yolo's garage door system got me the same features I had with the other product but was much, much easier to install and start up. Will buy the second one for my 3r'd car garage door as well.

Support was great as I did run into an installation problem that turned out to be my programming error, not the product's issue.

I inadvertently set up a second home in the app and thought I'd lost connection to the hub. But, their tech support folks figured out I had made a programming mistake quickly and helped me fix it easily.

I was initially also not sure if the range between my yolo hub (which is working with a water sensor in my basement) and the new garage door opener would be a problem. It wasn't! Communication from my basement all the way to the garage is quite a distance and thru most of my house. It works perfectly even under those conditions.

The only suggestion I'd make to Yolo is to use a slightly heavier gauge wire for the controller to garage door terminals connection. A bigger gauge wire (tinned on the ends) would make the installation even easier.

Awesome Product

Installation of the sensor and garage door remote opener was extremely easy. I used the “button” method so connect two wires and DONE!

YoLink does need to do a better job of explaining how to “bind” the sensor (up/down) to the opener (no instructions anywhere until I googled it) but once I figured this out they paired correctly and all is well. I really like the YoLink line of products.

Give MyQ garage door opener the Finger

Just after I had my garage door opener installed they changed it so it wouldn't work with relay's like it did before. That's where my Yolink Finger controller came to the rescue. Now I have no trouble opening the door through the Yolink app, Fob, or using Alexa. The Yolink sensor let's me know if it's open or closed.
